The jobs San Francisco calls us for

City houses, city quirks

Victorians settle. Fog gets in. Doors stick.

San Francisco homes are old, beautiful, and mildly crooked — and they generate small repairs constantly. Edwardian flats have plaster walls that crack as the building settles. Sunset and Richmond houses live in fog that swells doors and windows shut. Nothing is square, studs are never where the app says, and the last "quick fix" was done in 1987. This is exactly the work we do all day.

We cover the whole city — Noe Valley, the Mission, Bernal Heights, the Castro, Hayes Valley, SoMa condos, the Marina, Pacific Heights, and out through the avenues in the Sunset and Richmond. Parking, tight stairs, and building rules are our problem to manage, not yours; we show up on time, work tidy, and quote everything upfront.

Also in the East Bay? We're based in Oakland — see the Oakland and Berkeley handyman pages. Down the Peninsula, we cover San Mateo and the mid-Peninsula too. Or browse the full list of 20 services.

Good questions

San Francisco handyman FAQ

How much does a handyman cost in San Francisco?

Most small jobs are quoted upfront before any work starts, so you know the price in advance. Costs depend on the task, materials, and time on site. See typical Bay Area ranges in our handyman cost guide, or send a few details or a photo and we'll give you a free estimate with no obligation.

Which San Francisco neighborhoods do you cover?

All of them — the Sunset and Richmond districts, Noe Valley, the Mission, Bernal Heights, the Castro, Hayes Valley, SoMa, the Marina, Pacific Heights, and everywhere between. We schedule SF visits so travel and parking are our problem, not yours.

Do you work in apartments and condo buildings?

Yes. We work in flats, condos, and apartment buildings across the city, respect building rules and quiet hours, and keep the work area tidy. We're insured, and renters are welcome — move-out patch-and-touch-up visits are a specialty.

Can you handle old Victorian and Edwardian houses?

That's most of our SF work. Plaster walls, settled floors, hundred-year-old door frames — we know the quirks, carry the right hardware, and will tell you honestly when something needs a specialty contractor instead.

Is any job too small?

No — small jobs are the whole business. One towel bar, one sticking door, one drywall hole: welcome. Batching a few tasks into one visit gets you the best value.
